We’ve just released a new version of CoPilot Live USA in the App Store. CoPilot Live USA is available to install on both the iPhone and iPad.
*** This latest version fixes a software crash that some customers may have experienced when trying to install and run the app on their iPad. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and advise you to download this update to correct the issue.
IMPORTANT: When completing the initial set up process on your iPad, please make sure the iPad is in portrait orientation. Once set up it complete, you can start and use the App in any orientation. ***

So if you submitted a street or address change in March, it’s now available!
You can download the free update directly from your device via mobile web or WiFi:
- Go to MENU > Updates and tap “Check for Updates”
If you prefer to have your device check for these monthly updates automatically:
- Go to MENU > Updates and select the “Check for Updates When CoPilot Starts” option and tap OK
Please note you MUST have the latest Quarterly Maps on your CoPilot Live for the map maintenance updates to work. You can check to see if you have the latest quarterly maps or read how to get them here.

The free updates give you a complete set of updated North America street maps and points of interest, including over 15,000 miles of new roads and hundreds of map improvements submitted by users through our MapSure™ service. Also included in the updates is improved guidance at road intersections, integrated local search and the ability to post your journey information to Facebook.
